About Me

I started my professional career in the theatre, initially as a performer and subsequently as a promoter and producer. I have been practising yoga since discovering Anne Marie Zulkahari’s yoga classes back in the 1990s. In 2007, relinquishing my theatre PR business, I decided to train as a teacher with Chloe Fremantle and Anne Marie Zulkahari on the London Yoga Teacher Training Course (LYTTC), a two-year course fully accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga.

I have been a regular member of the team at Clerkenwellbeing in Goswell Road, EC1 since the Centre opened in 2013, teaching a weekly Monday evening class there. I am a member of the teaching faculty of the LYTTC and also run courses and CPD workshops for the London Yoga Teacher Training Group (LYTTG). I regularly co-teach with Sarah Linsey on these courses.

In 2011 I re-engaged with my love of theatre and now combine my teaching practice with a freelance theatre press consultancy role at the Barbican Centre.

Feedback from my Yoga Classes

“Bridget’s yoga classes are perfectly pitched for all levels from beginner to those with several years’ practice”

The yoga teaching is superb – precise and expertly explained, yet the class retains a friendly, warm and inviting atmosphere and is not competitive in any way. I emerge each week not only with a lightness and freedom in my body, but a clearer mind and a greater sense of wellbeing.
